What is an RCTI?
In most cases, tax invoices are issued by a supplier. However, in special cases, you as the purchaser or recipient of the goods or services may issue a tax invoice for your purchases. This is known as a recipient-created tax invoice (RCTI).
Generating an RCTI from the Swyftx platform will provide you with a tax invoice for each individual transaction you have made, essentially functioning as a receipt for each of your cryptocurrency purchases. If you would like a full breakdown of your transaction history, have a look at this article for how to generate a tax report.
To download a RCTI for any completed crypto order, head to https://trade.swyftx.com.au/orders/ or navigate to the Order History tab as shown below:
Once here, you will need to click on the blue action icon.
From the iOS or Android App
This will prompt you to download the file to your device in PDF format.
From Internet Browser (Chrome or similar)
This will prompt your browser to download the file to your designated download folder in PDF format.
After downloading the PDF, you'll be able to see the invoice as below:
This will provide you with a breakdown of each individual transaction.
