As an AUSTRAC registered exchange, we must apply customer identification procedures to all of our customers. Specifically, to ensure that we abide by our strict obligations set out by the Anti‑Money Laundering and Counter‑Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), we also run 24/7 transaction monitoring programs.
If your account has been flagged by our system, we are required to temporarily hold your deposit or withdrawal and you will be required to complete a KYC 1 form. This form will require you to provide us with a photo or copy of a relevant piece of ID and a selfie of yourself holding up four fingers. As such, we recommend using a mobile device so you can upload photos directly from your camera. After completing this form, one of our friendly account managers will inform you whether we can approve your deposit or withdrawal or if we need further information from you.
